| A big drawback with coaxial speakers mounted in the front/rear doors or in the rear percel tray is directivity : the mid-high range tends to point to the passenger's feet or the car's roof, preventing listeners from enjoying the speaker's full potential. Kenwood solves this problem with "angled direct sound" employed in these new speakers. Mid-range and tweeter drivers are slanted to steer mid-high range frequencies towards passengers' ears and driver clearer, more directional sound with less loss. The drivers are slanted to the very limit a 10 angle and the tweeters project only a very small amount. |
